I'm Sean, an award-winning game developer and storyteller who has a passion for creating worlds for people to escape into.

Leadership
Through my time at Drury University, I demonstrated leadership skills.

From 2022-2023 I was the president of the Drury Indie Game Studio club. During my time as president, I took the dwindling club and brought it back. Some things I helped orchestrate were guest speakers, a trip to the Tulsa Computer Simulation and Gaming Conference, and helped host the first-ever Drury Game Jam.

In my Software Engineering Class, we were split into teams of 4. My team picked me to be the Team Manager. Throughout the project, I was in charge of leading team meetings (and making sure everyone was able to do their scrum). I also helped delegate the tasks, making sure work was fairly distributed and that everyone had help if they needed it.

In my Small Press Publishing class, I was one of the two Lead Editors and helped lead meetings. During meetings, we would go over our Literary Magazine and I would need to make sure everyone got a chance to express their opinions on the submissions.
In my different experiences of leadership, I have learned that leading a team is NOT having control, but instead making sure everyone on the team stays on track and has a chance to showcase their skills. Being a leader means that I have to play just as much of a team player as everyone else on my team.
