Animations and Films

While at Drury University I focused on animation for my Game Development elective courses. This gave me the opportunity to take the 12-Principles of Animation, Computer Animation I, Computer Animation II, and Computer Animation III courses. The following comes from what I learned in those classes.

Good-Bye

In my Computer Animation II class, I had the chance to write and direct my own short film. With the time limit I had and the size of my team (only 3), I knew that if I wanted to make something great, I would need to get creative. That is when I realized that filming in live-action with elements of CGI would make up for the time that would have been spent on animation. What resulted was a heart-felt short that I am proud to say got the highest grade out of the 3 student films we produced in that class.

This project highlighted my skills in leadership (and my ability to direct), storytelling, compositions, and finally the creative ability to make the best product I can with the time and resources I am given.
